The Project
The Green Haven Project - Mangrove is an environmental initiative focused on planting 10,000 mangrove trees to restore coastal ecosystems, combat beach erosion, and promote environmental sustainability. Organized by JCI, the project involves local farmers, students, and community members in a six-hour event on June 16, 2024. Activities include educational sessions, hands-on planting, and ecotourism exploration, aiming to raise awareness and engage participants in preserving mangrove habitats. Sponsorship options are available for individuals and corporations, offering various benefits and recognition opportunities.
The Design
The website for the Green Haven Project - Mangrove presents a visually appealing and interactive experience, leveraging a parallax scrolling effect on the hero section to create a dynamic and engaging introduction. The leaderboard is prominently displayed, showcasing top contributors with interactive elements that highlight their achievements.
