Job Title: Director Controller
Job Summary:The Director Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial activities of the organization. This includes financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of financial data. The Director Controller will work closely with senior management to ensure that financial information is accurate, timely, and relevant to business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
Oversee financial accounting, reporting, and analysis to provide accurate and timely financial information to senior management and other stakeholders
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working with senior management to establish targets and track performance against goals
Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement
Manage and develop a team of financial professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support as needed
Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements that enhance financial reporting and analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
CPA or equivalent certification required
10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to manage and develop a team of financial professionals
Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools and software
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
