During my attendance at Anderson Institute of Technology I directed a music video called "xanny." At the time of making this video I was in my last year at AIT and in high school. I feel like this project showcases my skills the most out of all the projects I had completed. I was in control of every aspect. I directed, wrote the script, edited all the footage and audio. Every step that was taken I took head on. With this music video I really wanted to focus on matching the visual aspects with the mood and tone of the song. I accomplished this by choosing specific shots, mostly close up to give it a moody feel. The script I wrote plays out perfectly with the song but do think more angles and more movement with the camera would've added a little more to give off the feeling. I think there's a lot of improvement that can be made from this, but with the skills I had at the time and the level I was at I'm really proud of this project.
