Sutton's Strike: Igniting Global Buzz for G20

This spec campaign concept was designed to generate massive pre-premiere hype for Amazon Studios' action-thriller film G20 using fan art. Directed by Patricia Riggen and starring Viola Davis as U.S. President Danielle Sutton—a former military operative turned world leader who must single-handedly combat terrorists besieging a G20 summit. To capture the spirit of the film and the promotional concept a high-contrast graphic comic style was used to bring the world of the film to life. Using generative tools Viola was visualized as a hero in vignettes blurring the action narrative behind the film and a super hero style heroine arch.
The comic aesthetic draws inspiration from graphic novels and superhero comics, with bold line work, dramatic shading, vibrant red-and-gold color palettes symbolizing power and urgency, and exaggerated poses that amplify Sutton's "badassery" while nodding to her character's martial prowess and leadership. This style not only heightens the film's themes of empowerment.
Using generative tools, Viola was visualized as a hero in vignettes blurring the action narrative behind the film and a superhero-style heroine arc—depicting her in dynamic poses like mid-punch aerial dives or armed flights over urban landscapes, evoking a blend of realistic thriller tension with empowering comic-book heroism.
