A tech startup approached our marketing agency, intending to increase app downloads and user engagement for their new mobile application. After thoroughly analyzing their target audience and industry, I proposed an influencer marketing campaign to achieve their goals.
Strategy:
Our strategy involved identifying and partnering with influencers with a strong following in the tech and lifestyle niches. We carefully selected influencers based on their engagement rate, audience demographics, and relevance to the client’s brand.
I created a customized influencer campaign, including sponsored posts, Instagram takeovers, and product reviews. I also implemented influencer whitelisting, which allowed us to boost the influencer posts and reach a wider audience.
Execution:
We collaborated with (10) ten influencers with a combined following of over 6.5M. Each influencer created 2-3 sponsored posts highlighting the key features and benefits of the app. They also shared their experience with the app, creating an emotional connection with their followers.
We also conducted Instagram takeovers where the influencers shared a day in their life while using the app. This helped showcase the app's features and how it integrated seamlessly into their daily routine.
Results:
The influencer marketing campaign resulted in a 20% increase in app downloads and a 15% increase in user engagement within the first month of the campaign. The influencer posts generated over 2,600,000 impressions and 80,000 engagements, including likes, comments, and shares.
The influencer whitelisting feature helped to create more targeted ads, resulting in a 10% decrease in cost per click and a 20% increase in click-through rate compared to traditional ads.
Conclusion:
The influencer marketing campaign succeeded, achieving the client's goals of increasing app downloads and user engagement. By partnering with relevant influencers and utilizing influencer whitelisting, we created a targeted campaign that resonated with the target audience and delivered measurable results.
