"ΑΠΟ ΤΗΝ ΜΙΑ ΓΝΩΣΗ ΣΤΗΝ ΑΛΛΗ"

About the Competition: The Slogan & Poster competition was held nationwide for all high school students with "Books and Learning" as the theme. My poster was awarded 2nd place as of 16/4/2022 by the judges of the competition.

About my Poster: So first off, the theme was "Books and Learning" which obviously had to include, well, books! At first, i had no real idea what i was going to do. I had no inspiration AT ALL and the few ideas that did cross my mind didn't spark any interest. Browsing through Pinterest helped me out a lot! Once i decided on the style, (Flat/Modern Illustration) it gave me a spark towards an idea. The woman pushing the books is a domino effect signifies the constant desire for knowledge and the multiplying size of the books symbolizes the infinite knowledge that they can provide. This is how i came up with the slogan: "Απο την μια γνωση στην αλλη" which is Greek for "FROM ONE PIECE OF KNOWLEDGE TO THE  NEXT" (It makes grammatical sense in Greek, this is just a direct translation). I gave the woman and the books a red accent color, because red shows strength and power. As the famous quote says: "Knowledge is power." I then chose a light blue background to contrast with the books.
