Lookup.GG originated as a side project initiated by my friend, ynk, in 2019. Initially developed as a Python console application. Upon joining the project, I transformed the codebase into a web application. I extensively revamped the console application's code, integrating Flask and introducing MongoDB for storing player and match data. Leveraging Jinja2 HTML Template, I created the front end, incorporating JavaScript for enhanced website functionality. The majority of requests are handled by Jinja2/Flask, with data fetched using the RIOT API.
