Here's FigMold in action 👇
Your phone becomes a 3D sculpting controller. Scan a QR code, tilt to rotate, tap to switch brushes — then drop your sculpture into AR.
Best experienced on desktop or tablet. Open the link (https://figmold.figma.site/) from my first post and try it yourself.

I built FigMold for the #FigmaMakeathon — a browser-based 3D sculpting tool built entirely in Figma Make. It reimagines how we interact with 3D — instead of being locked to a mouse on a desktop, your phone becomes a spatial companion device.
What it does:
- Sculpt a 3D sphere with real brushes
- Scan a QR code to connect your phone as a live controller
- Rotate the model by tilting your phone, switch brushes from your palm
- Enter AR mode and see your sculpture placed in the real world
- Share your creation when it's done
The idea was to rethink 3D sculpting — traditionally a heavy, desktop-only experience — as something spatial, physical, and accessible through the web.
