Simiyu Motors – Online Car Marketplace
Simiyu Motors is a responsive web application I designed and developed to simplify buying and selling vehicles online. The platform allows users to browse available cars, create accounts, post vehicle listings with images and pricing, search for vehicles, and contact sellers directly through WhatsApp.
My Responsibilities
Designed the user interface using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Built responsive layouts for desktop and mobile devices.
Integrated Firebase Authentication for user registration and login.
Implemented Firebase Firestore to store vehicle information.
Added image upload functionality using Firebase Storage.
Developed search and filtering features to improve user experience.
Created a dashboard where users can manage their own listings.
Integrated WhatsApp for direct buyer–seller communication.
Tested and optimized the website for usability and performance.
