A lobster-themed open-source AI coding project built by an Austrian developer has taken the industry by storm.
NVIDIA's Jensen Huang prominently featured OpenClaw in his GTC keynote this week, and the technology is sparking debate over whether AI models are becoming commoditised. I like to argue that this is a democratisation-oriented landscape.
The gap between Senior and Junior dev is closing rapidly, not closed, or stopped closing, but "closing"
Let's check back in a couple of years, though.

I wanted to see what happens when you give a model a face, a voice, a personality, and actual eye contact.
So I built Zek'thar: a real-time AI science tuto. It's a photorealistic alien character that holds live conversations, teaches through Socratic questioning, and remembers what you struggled with last time.
The difference a face makes for voice agents is insane. Students engage 2-3x longer compared to text-based tutors. Turns out humans really are wired for eye contact even with aliens.
Drop a comment if you want me to break down the full build process.
