Z is a cabin with a 25 sqm base designed around simplicity and a strong connection to nature.
Natural wood and stone, minimal interiors, and a large panoramic opening bring the surrounding landscape into the living space.
Every element is reduced to its essentials, creating a small, calm, and functional retreat.

(https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/design/)#project (https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/project/) The D-7 project explores how architecture can create a shared place within the familiar scale of the neighborhood. Set among single-family houses, the project takes the pitched roof as a reference, not to imitate it, but to reinterpret a familiar form through a contemporary language.
The building unfolds as a sequence of spaces for gathering, movement, culture, and everyday life, blurring the boundary between architecture and the public realm.
Timber, glass, steel, and concrete bring together warmth, transparency, and structure, grounding a new place in the character of its surroundings.

Set within the forest, the house follows the natural slope of the land, stepping between the pine trees rather than standing apart from them. Its spaces unfold gradually, connected by a continuous relationship with the landscape.
Large openings frame the forest from within, allowing daylight, views and natural breezes to move through the house and making the outdoors an extension of the living space.
