Funny thing is, the tools are moving faster than most of the content explaining them.
Half the SaaS demos I see are still a screen recording with a voiceover ā while the product itself changed three times since the video was made.
I've been thinking about this a lot lately while making motion content for SaaS/fintech teams. Not saying every video needs agents or AI in it ā just that the bar for "does this look like 2026" keeps moving, and a lot of explainer content hasn't caught up.
Curious how other people making product content are thinking about this.

Made a 30-second promo for a food-tech startup.
Watched the final visual back for the tenth time ā and at some point I caught myself actually wanting to eat. Not "looks nice," but a real physical craving.
I think that's the moment you know a startup's image through video is actually working ā not when it just looks expensive, but when it hits the gut instead of the eyes. That's the whole point of good promo, to me.
