Self-initiated work sample: a source-pack CSV QA check using synthetic data. I built a small JavaScript checker that flags duplicate organization names, missing required evidence fields, malformed URLs, and stale or future source-review dates. In the five-row fictional fixture, one row passes structure and four are held for correction. A structural pass never verifies a public claim, an official source, a buyer, or deliverability. Every real source still needs human review. The input and results contain no client or private data. AI assisted code drafting; I ran the fixture and reviewed the output. This QA step supports my bounded source-backed research service: https://contra.com/s/QBg2evNW-public-source-prospect-research-pack

Cover image for Self-initiated work sample: a three-state
Self-initiated work sample: a three-state small-business resource map. I checked the official Washington, California, and Idaho SBDC pages and recorded one narrow service finding plus one limit for each network. The resulting table keeps source facts separate from appointment availability, eligibility, and vendor buying intent. These are public support resources, not prospective buyers; no organization was contacted. Official sources: https://wsbdc.org/about-us/ · https://www.californiasbdc.org/what-to-expect/ · https://idahosbdc.org/ AI assisted drafting; I checked the stated facts against those pages on Oct 21, 2026. The method is also used in my bounded $25 research service: https://contra.com/s/QBg2evNW-public-source-prospect-research-pack

Cover image for Sample of a public-source research
Sample of a public-source research pack I can prepare for a buyer-defined niche and country. For a demonstration brief—three distinct U.S. public library systems with documented makerspaces—I checked official pages for Chicago Public Library’s Legler Maker Lab, San Francisco Public Library’s The Mix, and Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Library Teen Tech Center. The deliverable format records the organization, website, exact source URL, one source-backed fact, a fit note, and a discovery question, plus positioning angles and a factual correction. These are research matches, not confirmed buyers or sales leads; no one was contacted. AI assisted drafting and organization, with claims checked against the linked public pages.
