've designed templates for Prezi through three totally different phases of the product — starting with fully customizable presentations, then a system that had to look good without knowing what content someone would drop in, and eventually the visual style an AI uses to generate layouts on its own. Same core problem every time, just with tighter rules each round. By the end I wasn't designing layouts anymore — I was shaping the style an AI follows to design them.

When Prezi launched its AI features, the challenge wasn't designing for AI — it was making a new technology feel human instead of intimidating. I developed the visual system that carried that message across video, email campaigns, product templates, and launch assets, prioritizing real people over abstract AI iconography to keep the message approachable without losing credibility. The system held up well enough that the resulting templates became some of the best examples produced by real users.
