The Podcast Planner is my entry for the @Notion x @Contra Custom Agent Build-a-Thon.
I just launched my own podcast, "Think Like a Librarian" — and I genuinely would not have had the confidence to do it without the system I built to get me there.
The Podcast Planner is a structured episode planning assistant for independent podcast hosts who want to hit record without staring at a blank page.
- Show Profile setup that captures your voice, audience, and core topics — so every episode sounds like you.
- Content Library with four databases: Personal Reflections, Saved References, Story Bank, and Episodes — your material, organized and searchable.
- Step-by-step Episode Planning Workflow covering concept, outline, hooks, CTA, show notes, SEO metadata, repurposing ideas, and a newsletter companion.
- Script Language Standards that enforce voice consistency and flag generic podcast-speak before it reaches the mic.
- Voice calibration checkpoint before any prose is drafted — the agent checks your writing samples, not just your preferences.
- Web search used purposefully: timeliness checks at concept, real People Also Ask data for SEO, and resource verification before any Finding Aid is suggested.
- Write-back confirmation flow — the agent proposes what it wants to save, waits for approval, then writes it.
- End-of-session recap with direct links to every page that holds your work.
Built in Notion — your episode plans live where your notes already do.
And the more context you give it, the more each plan sounds like you and works FOR you

What if your course workbooks had unlimited space, stayed connected to the right lesson, and updated as you progressed? This Notion dashboard — built from scratch for The Membership Experience course — replaces static PDFs with a fully relational system: Events, Modules, Lessons, and Workbooks all connected so nothing gets lost. Proof of what I build.
