Project Overview:
In this project, I managed the end-to-end financial bookkeeping and property-wise reporting for a multi-unit residential rental business based in the UK. The primary goal was to provide the client with clean, organized, and audit-ready monthly financial insights.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks Performed:
Class & Property Tracking: Segmented and tracked unique income streams and expenses across individual properties (e.g., 201 Main St, 202 Main St) to evaluate the profitability of each asset.
Direct Cost Allocation: Accurately recorded and categorized direct property costs, including property taxes, utilities, cleaning services, insurance, and maintenance fees.
Overhead Management: Tracked operational expenses such as advertising and office expenses to accurately determine gross profits and net earnings.
Financial Reporting: Utilized QuickBooks Online to generate customized Monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, helping the client monitor cash flow and make data-driven investment decisions.
