松下茶 / A Moment in Tea The anchor is a real object: a Southern Song tea bowl with a "hare's-fur" iron glaze, in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (91.1.226, CC0). It has held nothing for over a century. This film brings back one cup. The bowl is the only real thing on screen. The scholar, the mountains, the steam, the froth are all generated, and the real Met photograph is composited into every close shot so the object stays genuine and never becomes an invented copy. The froth blooms into mountains and rivers, a whole world beaten out of one wrist. In that same mist two figures clash. One sip drains it all away. Then the cold museum, and the bowl alone. The calligraphy is not a font. Every character is Su Shi's own brush, cut one glyph at a time from a public-domain scan of his Former Ode on the Red Cliff (前赤壁赋), then set as bilingual subtitles, one line per shot. Score for solo guqin. Third of a triptych on what a museum keeps: loss (宫中图), possession (照夜白), and a single moment of use. Artifact: Tea Bowl with "Hare's-Fur" Glaze, China, Southern Song dynasty (1127–1279).
