I wrote and designed this update for OpenGov Africa's volunteers and contributors, welcoming them into the community and including a personal note from the founder. The email covers the impact of small, consistent contributions from Discord and GitHub activity to daily virtual hours and reinforces the mission behind the movement.

I designed and wrote the welcome email new members get when they join OBI's community. I built their whole Mailchimp setup from the ground up domain auth, sign-up forms, the works and made the header banner myself in Canva using their brand purple. The email introduces OBI's work around youth mental health, education, sanitation, and climate, and sets the tone for everything that follows.
