James Rankin

James knows story and he knows characters. I had written a first draft and I knew something wasn't flowing quite right. James pinpointed a few places where the logic jumped ... and where the characters, as I had written them, were not being true to themselves. He pointed them out and asked me questions. Some of the info I had in me, but it just had not gotten onto the page yet. When I didnt' have answers, he gave me a few possibilities to consider. His insights moved me beyond procrastination.
