I modernized a small business’s technology environment by rebuilding its legacy static website into a modern web platform and developing a custom CRM to manage customers, orders, payments, services, and sensitive PII and PHI. The environment was built using Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Supabase, GitHub, Netlify, and PowerShell scripting. I implemented role-based access controls, audit logging, secure data handling, payment processing integrations, and automated business workflows. I also established a practical cybersecurity program using Action1 for endpoint and patch management, Elastic Defend for endpoint threat detection and monitoring, Nmap for network discovery and assessment, OpenVAS for vulnerability scanning, and CIS Level 1 benchmarks for system hardening. The project combined full-stack development, cloud services, automation, IT modernization, vulnerability management, endpoint security, and cybersecurity awareness to improve business operations and reduce organizational risk.
