Built my first project in Lovable, and I decided to start with something a little unusual. 🖤 For the @Lovable Booking Challenge, I created BAD COMPANY, a fictional Los Angeles rental company for large-scale animatronic dolls for Halloween parties, private events, and corporate events. The business is busiest during Halloween season, availability is limited, and the owner is juggling customer inquiries, delivery, setup, pickup, and event logistics at the same time. A rental like this can easily turn into a long back-and-forth about availability, pricing, event details, setup times, delivery, and pickup. So I built the entire experience around one simple self-service booking flow. Customers start by choosing an animatronic, explore all the important details, check available dates, select their event type and setup window, add the event location and contact information, review everything, and confirm. The booking summary stays visible throughout the process, and the final confirmation includes all event details, the total, booking number, and an option to add it directly to the calendar. The goal was to turn “Can I book this?” into “You’re booked” while removing as much manual coordination from the owner as possible.
