The goal was to recreate a real-world, modular structure while adapting to differences in assembly logic, including constraints (mates in SolidWorks vs joints in Fusion 360), timeline-based modeling, and parametric control. The design focuses on practical assembly structure, repeatable components, and clean part relationships suitable for manufacturing-style modeling. While simple in appearance, the project emphasizes correct alignment behavior, assembly integrity, and workflow translation between CAD platforms. This exercise strengthened my understanding of: Assembly relationships and joint behavior in Fusion 360 Translating SolidWorks constraint logic into Fusion workflows Parametric design structure for reusable components Clean, modular modeling practices for real-world objects The result is a functional, dimensionally consistent pallet assembly that demonstrates foundational CAD competency and adaptability across software environments.
