Kuga Studio has a new digital home, and it was truly a pleasure to bring it to life. I loved working for friends, supporting their business, having the creative freedom, and still making sure the website serves its purpose.
The project - and its timing - was just too perfect not to use this opportunity and get it done in time for the Webflow x Contra Community Challenge! The team at Kuga Studio are literally my dream clients who just happen to be real.
I don’t like to pick favorites, but this project might just be the one.
Check it out here: https://www.kugastudio.com/
Would love to hear the community’s and the judges’ feedback!

Webflow x Contra Community Challenge is live with only 10 days left to enter - yikes. Sharing some mobile design screens while still working on development in Webflow. As much as we always want to be creative we have to switch our approach from experience to efficiency when it comes to mobile.

I knew I have to jump on this challenge from the moment it was posted. It's about creating a web experience for your dream client. But then the craziest coincidence happened. A couple of weeks ago I started working with Kuga Studio to bring their website to life.
They are my dear friends and are a big part of my life. They push to be different in every aspect of their work. They are not afraid to be bold. They are dancers, movers and artists. They are the creatives. They are my dream clients that also happen to be real.
So here are some desktop designs I made for Kuga Studio's website while development stage is already in progress. Working hard to get it done in time for Webflow x Contra Community Challenge.

“It’s not just a bar.” I love it when a brand asks for something bold. The challenge for Office by night was to transform the vision of nightlife into a complete experience.
I designed a unique and cohesive brand that established a standout presence in the scene. Everything - from identity to print, social media, and ad materials - was made to bring a fresh perspective to the local audience.
We succeeded by defining a solid brand strategy, laying the foundation for verbal and visual identity that reflect the venue’s exclusive atmosphere.

Excited to join the challenge with a recent (re)branding project for Osnova.
Osnova is a family business from Slovenia with over 30 years of tradition in selling work clothing. The main goal was to keep the existing red color - slightly optimized - and modernize the overall look while maintaining a professional feel.
We started by diving deep into strategy, defining the brand’s DNA, positioning, audience, competitors, and verbal identity. Then, we explored creative directions with an emphasis on quality, trust, and family.
The entire visual identity was designed using golden ratio principles to give it a truly timeless look. The brand mark is constructed by combining a cotton flower, twisted fabric, and a button - elements found in almost all clothing items. Together, these form a visual story that reflects the brand’s strategy.

Hi Contra! It's nice to finally join this community.
I'm Jan and I'd like to introduce myself with one of my latest projects. The Symphony was made for Webflow Community Challenge (https://webflow.com/community/webflow-challenge) and it got me all the way to the finals!
The challenge was not only about creating spatial interfaces but also crafting a compelling story that’s relatable to anyone. By utilizing sound, music, and instruments, we present the foundations of web design and real-time comparison of code and interactions through a timeline. We tried our best to showcase the full capabilities of new GSAP powered interactions through layout, animation and storytelling.
Feel free to check the free cloneable here (https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/website/the-symphony).
Looking forward to connect and share more work!
