2021 almost broke me. Fortunately, I prevailed. This writing was created during a monumental point in my life. A million hurdles and I leapt them all.

Being a parent is hard enough as it is, but sometimes life with a special needs child can take a mental toll; even if it's not visible to others.

As treacherous as it may be to read; rape happens and it's a traumatic experience. I share in hopes to help others realize they aren't alone. They can be heard.

This is a poem that I wrote recently after battling through some major situations that had happened in my life and I wasn't in such a positive state of mind.
