Built a custom AI chatbot concept for an e-commerce business that answers customer questions, recommends products, identifies buying intent, and captures qualified leads. What we built: -AI customer support chatbot. Handles product questions and conversations. -Product recommendations. Understands what the customer wants and suggests relevant products. -Lead capture. Collects customer details such as name, phone/email, product interest, size, color, and budget. -Lead qualification. Analyzes the conversation and gives the lead a score based on purchase intent. -Intent detection. Recognizes whether the customer is browsing, asking questions, or ready to purchase. -Automated follow-up. Generates an appropriate response based on the customer's conversation. -WhatsApp-style interface. Demonstrated how the agent could interact with customers through messaging. -Business-specific AI. The concept is designed around a company's products, pricing, FAQs, and policies rather than acting like a generic chatbot. -Rust backend. The actual agent prototype we're building is written in Rust and connects to a Gemini model for the AI analysis.
