Dropbox Action Bar ✨
The Brand Experience team at Dropbox works on a variety of high impact and high visibility projects across the company. We focus on how ways to influence how our products feel, from various micro-interactions, animated illustrations, voice and tone, color usage, educational tooltips, upsells, and so much more.
This was a small but fun project I collaborated on with Azeem Segraves (https://www.linkedin.com/in/s-b9317a273/), our In-Product Motion Design Lead. Creating some animated icons for the action bar, adding a touch of delight in some of the most commonly accessed areas of the product without getting in the way of a user's intent.

Mixpanel Rebrand 📊
My independent design practice, Freelance Studio, was hired by Mixpanel to work closely with their brand studio team on a comprehensive rebrand that took nearly a year to complete and roll out. These are some of the artifacts from the rebrand.

I led the redesign of Robinhood's onboarding experience ✨
I partnered closely with our motion design lead (Azeem Khalid-Seagraves) and an illustrator (Jaedoo Lee) over the course of 3-4 weeks to design, pitch, and ship this experience to production. It's in the Robinhood app today if you want to experience it for yourself!

Meta Reality Labs System Iconography 🌐
Following 'The Facebook Company's' rebrand as 'Meta’' there was a need for a unified visual system that reflected their renewed focus on human connection. An essential element of this initiative was the creation of an icon set that complemented Meta's new logo and the 'Optimistic' typeface.

Dropbox Web Redesign 🔮
Our team led a visual and UX refresh of Dropbox’s web experience, overhauling navigation, introducing a persistent action bar, and refining core screens (Home, Browse, Preview, Share) to improve usability, modernize the brand, and boost workflow efficiency. I led the visual design phase of this project in partnership with two principal designers, Chris Meeks and Brett Bergeron.

Lyft Amp Animations 🚗💨
Working on the Amp team at Lyft was super fun, it was the cross between product design, hardware, and brand. An intersection I like to call Brand Experience Design, we were shaping the in-ride experience for both riders and drivers at top airport locations and even on special holidays across the country.
I had the opportunity to collaborate with Mark Teater (https://markteater.com/work-projects/amp-animations) who built the system for the animations and also Matthew Law (https://www.foughtthelaw.com/) to develop some other animations on the front and back of the Amp.
Robinhood's Crypto Wallet Waitlist 🤑
Having the ability to store your crypto in a wallet on Robinhood was among the most requested features in the company’s history, making it a top priority for the business. With only a few days before launch, a motion designer (Daniel Belay (https://www.linkedin.com/in/danielbelay)) and I from the ProductX team ran a fast-paced design sprint in order to shape a compelling brand experience for the Crypto Wallet waitlist.

Robinhood Learn 🪶
I had the opportunity to spearhead the introduction of in-app education and financial literacy within the Robinhood app. I led design alongside two content designers formerly from IDEO with backgrounds in finance and education. This was one of my favorite projects to date, helping people improve their financial journey on Robinhood 📈

Twitch Automod 2.0 👾
Twitch is an online community where millions of people and thousands of interests collide in an explosion of video games, pop culture, and conversation. I led the development and creative direction of our Bits-inspired characters alongside a 3D illustrator/motion designer (Matt Gravish (https://www.mgravish.com/)) and our product marketing partner. In creating these characters, we helped humanize the Twitch brand and it enabled us to talk about new feature releases in the future.
