New to Contra
iara is building their profile!
Figma x Contra Config makeathon is, once again, clear proof of designers being able to ship innovative products.
Yet, in many projects, they are still heavily restricted.
I built Wave Studio as an invitation to imagine collaboration pass current limitations, where designers can contribute to codebases directly even when dev teams don't have the bandwith to build AI workflows for it.

I built Wave Studio for the @figma x @contra #ConfigMakeathon, purely using figma make.
It helps you prototype web animations visually: draw movement paths, tune opacity and scale, and combine multiple elements into one motion composition.
The most interesting part: it is built around Motion’s animation model. The animations you create visually are translated into Motion-compatible props, making the prototype a first step toward a functional visual animation workflow. This opens the path for Wave to become a tool for creating and editing production ready animations.
