I built a Unicorn Studio-style effects engine entirely inside Figma Make.
For #ConfigMakeathon, I created Effects Processor ā a visual editor for building cinematic image and video effects using layers, masks, and 40+ real-time effects.
āØ Stack effects like layers
š Mask and blend effects on top of each other
šØ Combine 40+ effects to create unique visual styles
š„ Apply them to images and videos in real time
ā” Export the final result as React components or video/image
The challenge was seeing how far I could push Figma Make beyond traditional prototypes.
Turns out you can build a complete visual effects pipeline.
