Hey everyone! My name is George and I'm an interface designer :-) Great to be here and meet y'all!
Attaching some of my latest design concepts I explored for Spotify. What are you working on?

I always felt that we can inject a bit more sole and life into interfaces that we use on a daily basis. Right now the entire macOS experience feels very transactional (although I still love the OG UI) and felt I should do something about it 😄
This was a part of a short macOS exploration series. Hope you'll enjoy it! ❤️

Concepts aren’t decoration - they’re direction.
Every exploration visualizes a world that doesn’t exist yet. From that, we learn what feels human, what feels magical, and what should shape our products today. That’s why we share proof-of-work: not for pretty pixels, but to bend reality toward better experiences.
Or read - that's just goofing around with tools that looks boring.

The near future isn’t “AI replaces you.” It’s centaurs - humans with strong copilots. Context-aware machines and ambient interfaces has potential of making our life either beautiful or miserable. Really depends on how we design it.

Interfaces can be both, smart and beautiful. You don't have to choose only one thing ❤️ 😄 Let's give interfaces more life. Agree?

When designers who ask "what should this feel like" get squeezed out, you find out what's left.
Usually not much.

I’m tired of boring, soulless interfaces. It feels like we abandoned all the cool designs somewhere around 2012. Back then, we had a vision but were limited in our ability to execute.
Today, we have the technology - but no imagination? Come on, it’s time to wake up, y’all. Bring in some magic.

Didn’t make it to production, but this one still lives rent-free in my head. Retro colors, clean grids. It never shipped - but honestly, that’s beside the point. We had a blast. 😄
