The Things We Never Said is a fiction story I wrote about family, childhood, love, and healing. Inspired by the ways difficult experiences can shape our understanding of love, the story follows a young girl growing up in a toxic home and learning to redefine what love means to her. I wrote this story to explore the things we carry silently—and the healing that can come from finally facing them.
