MindMate is a mental-health support web app built as a final-year project. It gives you a calm place to look after your mind, whenever you need it.
Daily check-ins: log how you feel in seconds and see your mood trends over time.
AI companion: talk things through with a supportive AI. Every message is checked for signs of crisis first. If you might be in danger, you get crisis support straight away instead of an AI reply.
Evidence-based tools: guided breathing, mindfulness, sleep tracking, movement goals, staying connected with people, and small activity plans that lift your mood (behavioural activation).
Crisis resources: helplines for your country, always one tap away under "Get help now".
Private by design: your data goes through a secure server and is never sold. You can download or delete everything at any time.
MindMate is a wellbeing companion, not a medical service, and it doesn't replace professional care.
Built with React, Node.js/Express, Firebase and Google Gemini.

I designed and built my personal portfolio as a fast, single-page React site that shows clients what I build and makes it easy to reach me.
The goal was a portfolio that works like a short sales pitch. Visitors see who I am and what I do in the first screen. Then they see real client work: a case study of the website and internal business management system I built for Spears Resilience Systems, a security company. After that come my other projects, the tools I use, my experience, and a clear way to get in touch.

A responsive company website for Spears Resilience Systems, a security and facilities services company in Kenya. I designed and built it as a single-page React app. It covers the services offered, how the company works with clients, who it protects, and a live tracker section. The aim was a clear, professional first impression that explains the services quickly and makes the company easy to contact. It works across phones, tablets and desktops.
Tech: React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, responsive design
