The goal was to build a fluid, interactive voice interface that detects voice activity automatically and generates human-like audio responses in real time. Key Features & Implementation Dynamic Voice Activity Detection (VAD): Integrated real-time audio threshold monitoring to automatically detect when the user starts and stops speaking without manual hotkeys. Speech-to-Text Processing: Transcribes live audio input directly into structured text prompts for immediate LLM consumption. Contextual Response Generation: Maintained conversational context to generate accurate, natural, and helpful responses using an LLM pipeline. Low-Latency Text-to-Speech: Synthesized generated text into fluid audio output, playing responses back automatically.
