"Come Back to the Water" a Rivals to Allies Character Letter An original historical/ecological fiction piece written for a commissioned character-letter service, demonstrating in character voice writing for a custom fictional world. Set in a drought ridden agricultural region, the story depicts two warring families who reluctantly form an alliance over the shared resource of water. Written as a first person character letter, the piece showcases compressed emotional arcs, worldbuilding through environmental and historical detail, and the maintenance of an in-character voice all useful techniques for fandom commission work, character-focused fiction, and client responsive writing. https://lnkd.in/dZQ7vcZU
