Projects using TestRailProjects using TestRailDIEM — Health & Wellness App Product Development
I founded and led the development of DIEM, a multi-year health and wellness platform designed to bring nutrition, fitness, lifestyle guidance and personalized wellness information together in one experience.
The idea was to go beyond a basic calorie tracker or workout app. DIEM was designed to understand the individual user—their goals, activity level, nutrition, health conditions, allergies and other profile information—and use that data to provide more relevant daily guidance.
My role covered virtually every part of the product and business development process. I worked closely with professional software developers to define features, workflows, functionality, user experience, testing requirements and ongoing improvements. The developers handled the programming, while I directed what the platform needed to do and how the overall system should work.
I also hired and worked with licensed dietitians, physicians and other health professionals to develop the wellness information behind the platform. That content was incorporated into formulas, rules and logic designed to provide personalized recommendations to users.
DIEM included features such as personalized daily regimen items, nutrition tracking, exercise tracking, health conditions, allergies, goals, reports and wellness recommendations. Users could select goals such as losing weight, getting fit, improving overall health, toning, gaining weight or maintaining their current condition.
The platform was also designed with a professional side in mind, allowing trainers, coaches and health professionals to eventually review user information, provide guidance and work more closely with their clients.
Beyond the product itself, I was involved in branding, competitive research, UX direction, content development, marketing, social media, business strategy and commercialization. The larger business model included consumer subscriptions, professional accounts, corporate wellness programs and potential white-label licensing.
DIEM was a substantial multi-year product-development project that brought together technology, professional wellness content, user experience and business strategy. It demonstrates my ability to take a complex idea, define how it should work, coordinate the right specialists, and develop it into a structured product with a clear path toward commercialization. AI-Powered Order Fulfillment — Conversational AI for Walmart Operations
About: Walmart's fulfillment teams were navigating 200+ fragmented modules to complete a single order. Manual coordination, cognitive overload, and training costs running $774–$1,047 per associate were quietly burning $5M+ in operational friction every year. The system wasn't broken it was just never designed for the decisions people were actually making.
What I did: I was the sole designer on a 15-person cross-functional team, leading end-to-end design of a conversational AI assistant that unified order management, automated repetitive decision-making, and introduced explainable AI reasoning with built-in safety guardrails. I defined the conversational strategy, interaction model, and ethical guardrails then prototype and validated it live across 5+ store environments with 16 user sessions.
Post-launch: The results were structural: workflows accelerated 60%, 300+ daily support sessions eliminated, 24,000 clicks reduced per session, task time dropped to under 3 minutes. $5M+ in operational savings unlocked. Launched, awarded, and still running. FAB Glass & Mirror – Custom Glass & Mirror E-commerce Platform QA [USA] | Feb 2022 – Dec 2023 | NDA Protected
Overview: US e-commerce since 2011 - custom cut glass, tempered glass, shower doors, mirrors, table tops, railings, acrylic - nationwide shipping, hundreds of thousands customers.
Work I Did:
Tested complex custom quoting engine: pricing by dimensions (width/height), glass type, thickness, edgework (polished/beveled), add-ons (holes, notches)
Validated measurement validation: min/max limits, aspect ratio, boundary conditions - found bug allowing 0.1 inch glass
Full ordering workflow: configurator > cart > checkout (shipping calculation by size/weight) > payment > order tracking
Found 50+ defects in pricing algorithms - e.g., tempered glass 0.5" pricing calculated as 0.25", shower door hinge cutout fee missing
UI/UX validation: configurator usability, measurement input error messages, mobile responsiveness
Regression after each release - prevented re-introduction of pricing bugs
Impact: Improved pricing accuracy to 99.8%, reduced incorrect quotes by 90%
Tools: Manual Testing, Regression, UI/UX Validation
Domain: E-commerce Custom Manufacturing | Market: USA
