How do you get people to stop scrolling for a 5,000-word essay? As Social Media Editor at Letras Libres, a leading Spanish-language magazine of ideas with editions in Mexico and Spain, I lead the strategy that turns long-form literature, politics and criticism into content built for each platform: carousels that unpack an argument, quote cards that stop the scroll, short videos with authors, and archive series that give 25+ years of content a second life. Every channel has a job. Social media opens the door; the website, newsletter and magazine build the relationship. Results: +796% video views, +50% average engagement and +30% newsletter subscribers. Book-review carousels and serialized stories became our best-performing formats. The lesson for any niche brand: you don't need to dumb down your ideas to win on social. You need the right hook, in the right format, for each platform.

And it could help you get found on Google. 🔎 Since July 2025, public Instagram posts from professional accounts can appear in Google search. So when you answer your audience's questions in your content, those answers can be found by the people searching for them. The same questions are the starting point for SEO and AEO on your website. They make strong topics for articles, FAQ pages and product copy that can rank on Google and get cited in AI answers. I tried this with three US brands using ADA (https://contra.com/s/qAMlEqqN-ada-your-audiences-real-questions-turned-into-content-ideas): 💄 Glossier: "are y'all discontinuing rêve?" → a ready-made SEO/FAQ topic. 💻 Gamma: a teacher explains she canceled because her credits no longer go as far → a clear brief for a help article. 🏠 SERHANT: praise for a slower listing video → a signal to make more content in that format. These are based on public comments, not client work. None of these brands hired me. So- I made a desktop app for CRM management that gives you an idea of project timeline based on task hour association, per day project hours, and Lead/Client trackers! You can even import files and assign them to your projects for easier sorting! No more sifting through tab stacks looking for your CRM, your Calendar, or your Project Files. They're all in one place on your taskbar instead of your browser, and no longer at the mercy of your internet connection, and your client information is yours to protect. I'd be happy to hear any feedback on this. I wasn't planning on sharing since I make a lot of apps for personal use.
