Architect of Chaos: Branding Cobalt Analytics for the Envato Challenge AI has completely changed the creative landscape, but it hasn’t changed what makes a digital product functional. For the Envato Challenge, I set out to design the brand identity and UI concept for a B2B SaaS platform, Cobalt Analytics. The goal was to show the crucial difference between machine generation and human curation. The Insight: The Azulejo Metaphor Data analytics is often visually represented by clichéd glowing nodes and neon webs. I wanted a metaphor with history. I turned to Azulejo — traditional Portuguese ceramic tiles. Historically, the art of Azulejo was about taking thousands of fragmented, independent tiles and assembling them into one grand, coherent narrative. This is exactly what a predictive data platform does: it turns chaotic metrics into a clear system. The Process: AI as the Miner, Human as the Filter I started by feeding AI historical references of Azulejo tiles. The result? Absolutely stunning, yet completely unusable visual noise. AI generated beautiful chaos, but as a designer, I know that algorithms don't understand scalability, negative space, or modular grids. The Extraction: I rejected 95% of the AI generations, extracting just one perfect geometric silhouette hidden in the noise. The Clean-Up: I moved to Envato Elements to source mathematically perfect vector shapes and rebuilt the AI's concept into a clean, scalable brand mark. The System (Figma): I established a strict modular Bento-grid, paired the complex geometry with a brutalist sans-serif typography, and built out the core UI dashboard widgets in Figma. The Execution (Zero Photoshop): To bring the brand into the real world, I utilized Envato’s native mockup generator. I applied my designs directly to premium physical and digital mockups right inside Envato's browser tool—no Photoshop required. A completely streamlined, modern workflow. The Result: Cobalt Analytics. A brand identity that is mathematically precise, highly scalable, and ready for development. AI generated the noise, but human judgment built the system. And for the brave souls, here is the link to the full Figma file. Fair warning: it’s a typical creative mess inside, you know how it is 😅 https://www.figma.com/design/5Du5Sjr7jCCZYNgH5Y9QtB/Envato-Challenge?node-id=17-2181&t=vap8tOu6fACNieNW-1

What if sending money felt a little more like giving a gift? For Nova, I explored a banking app that brings payments, cards, and a bit of personality together. You can check your balance, browse recent transactions, send or request money, top up, and pay bills. My favorite part is the digital postcard feature. Before sending a transfer, you can add a little illustrated card—a heart, a birthday greeting, or a playful character. A simple way to make birthday money or a thank-you feel more personal. I carried that same 3D character into onboarding, pairing it with bold red gradients and large, clear payment details. There’s room for play, while the recipient and amount stay easy to check. Would you add a postcard to a transfer? I’d love to know what occasion you’d use it for.

Casemate: making malware analysis feel calm instead of scary Cybersecurity websites usually look the same: black background, green code, a hooded guy. I wanted to try the opposite for Casemate, a concept for a malware analysis tool. The idea is simple: the product keeps a suspicious file in a sealed chamber and watches what it does. So I put a bug frozen in amber in the middle of a canyon. It’s dangerous and under control at the same time, and you get it without reading a word. Then I made sure the page still works for a security lead who wants facts. The stats sit right next to the headline: threats isolated, latency, endpoints covered. The hardest part was keeping it warm without losing trust. I stayed with one terracotta colour, wide capitals and mono labels, so it reads like a serious tool and not a poster. I’m taking on new projects for SaaS and tech teams. If you have a product that’s hard to explain in one glance, send me a message. What do you think, would you trust a security product with a canyon on the homepage?

For Envato Challenge, I created a fictional launch commercial for a premium electric vehicle brand called Volta EV7. Rather than focusing only on AI-generated output, I wanted to show how creative judgment shapes the final result. Every stage of the project involved iteration, selection, and refinement. From naming the brand and designing the logo to generating visuals, creating cinematic video sequences, crafting the voiceover, generating music and sound effects, and finally editing everything into a cohesive story. Envato served as the primary creative toolkit throughout the project. I used its AI-powered tools to generate visual concepts, voiceover, music, and sound effects, while continuously refining the outputs until they matched the premium, cinematic direction I envisioned. To document that process, I also created a walkthrough showing how the project evolved from an initial idea into the finished film. https://x.com/piotr_ams/status/2081527934884405518 @Envato

An iOS game I'm designing and building, where you travel a real 3D globe and answer questions to fill a passport with stamps. I did the brand, the UI system (chunky outlines, hard shadows, bright colours), the SwiftUI build and this App Store preview video.
