Projects using React in RomeProjects using React in RomeRentBase is a Shopify app I designed and developed to help merchants manage rental and booking workflows directly inside their store.
The app handles complex rental logic such as availability, rental duration, daily and hourly pricing, scheduling rules, buffers, return dates, booking limits, product-specific settings, and checkout integration.
I built the product end-to-end, including the merchant admin experience, storefront booking flow, Shopify integrations, backend logic, and ongoing production support.
A major focus of the project was flexibility: merchants can configure rental behavior globally or per product without changing their existing Shopify store structure.

RentBase is currently used by real Shopify merchants, and I continue to develop new features, improve the UX, and solve real-world rental and booking requirements based on merchant feedback. Real-Time Dance Competition Scoring System
The Problem: Live dance competitions historically rely on paper scoring, causing massive delays, missing sheets, and calculation errors during live events. The Solution: I developed a real-time, tablet-optimized web application for judges. The system instantly processes incoming scores, handles complex penalty deductions, and updates a live leaderboard broadcasted directly to the audience. It completely digitized the event workflow, eliminating 100% of human calculation errors and saving hours of manual data entry.
