I contributed to the development of a distributed enterprise platform built around microservices, APIs, authentication, and data-intensive backend services. My role involved implementing and maintaining backend functionality, integrating services, designing API contracts, handling persistence, and supporting frontend applications consuming the platform. A significant part of the work involved translating complex business requirements into maintainable software while ensuring that different components of the system could communicate reliably and securely. Key areas of work included: Spring Boot microservices REST API design and implementation Service-to-service integrations Authentication and role-based authorization Relational and NoSQL data persistence Data mapping and transformation Error handling and validation Backend integration with Angular applications Maintenance and evolution of existing services Troubleshooting complex production issues The project strengthened my experience in building maintainable backend systems, integrating distributed components, and working with large production applications where reliability, security, and data consistency are critical.

I worked on the development and evolution of a large enterprise web platform designed to manage complex business processes, user workflows, and data across multiple internal services. My work covered both frontend and backend development, including the implementation of new features, business rules, REST APIs, database integrations, and workflow automation. The platform was built around a modular architecture where different services collaborated to manage long-running processes, user tasks, validations, and state transitions. Key contributions included: Development of frontend features with Angular Backend services and REST APIs with Spring Boot Business process and workflow automation Integration between multiple internal services Database modeling and persistence Authentication and authorization integration Complex validation and business rules Bug fixing and production maintenance Refactoring and performance improvements Analysis and implementation of new functional requirements The project required working on an established production codebase with complex domain logic, multiple integrations, and strict reliability requirements.

Ocelot is an open-source code intelligence platform I designed to help developers and teams understand complex codebases through AI-powered search and natural language queries. The system combines semantic retrieval, syntax-aware analysis, and dependency graphs to build a structured representation of a software project rather than treating source code as plain text. Ocelot analyzes classes, methods, dependencies, and relationships across the codebase, allowing users to ask questions about architecture, business logic, implementation details, and dependencies in natural language. Key capabilities include: Hybrid semantic and syntax-aware code search RAG-based question answering over source code Dependency graph generation Method and class-level indexing Incremental indexing for changed files Structured metadata extraction Support for backend and frontend codebases Java, Angular and TypeScript analysis Architecture and business-logic exploration through natural language I designed the architecture, indexing pipeline, retrieval strategy, dependency analysis, and AI interaction layer with a focus on making large codebases easier to navigate and understand.

RentBase is a Shopify app I designed and developed to help merchants manage rental and booking workflows directly inside their store. The app handles complex rental logic such as availability, rental duration, daily and hourly pricing, scheduling rules, buffers, return dates, booking limits, product-specific settings, and checkout integration. I built the product end-to-end, including the merchant admin experience, storefront booking flow, Shopify integrations, backend logic, and ongoing production support. A major focus of the project was flexibility: merchants can configure rental behavior globally or per product without changing their existing Shopify store structure. Key features include: Rental and booking management Availability and date selection Daily and hourly pricing Custom rental packages Buffer times before and after rentals Same-day rentals Product-level and global configuration Multi-item rental cart flows Shopify checkout integration Theme integration and storefront customization Merchant-facing admin dashboard RentBase is currently used by real Shopify merchants, and I continue to develop new features, improve the UX, and solve real-world rental and booking requirements based on merchant feedback.

The UC Smart Metering project focuses on creating a secure way to handle smart- meter data in a distributed energy system. In this project, edge devices first encode their meter data, sign it digitally, and ask nearby devices for approval before sending it to a central gateway. The gateway then checks the data to make sure it is authentic, unchanged, and follows the system rules.
