𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞? ✔️ We posted 2–4 works per week. So behind this result are 5 years of consistency. ✔️ Thanks to regular posting, we grew to around 100,000 followers across all our accounts. 🤣 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞: So far, Dribbble hasn’t brought us a single client. We do get inquiries from there, but so far, none of them have been from clients with the budgets we usually work with. Let’s see what happens next. Also, I’ll be happy to answer your questions about growing on Dribbble, if you have any. By the way, this case shows me that the phrase “where there is focus, there is result” is not entirely true. Because Dribbble wasn’t our daily focus throughout these 5 years. I’ll unpack this in the next post. Showplace is a design and furnishing service for short-term rental hosts. The iOS app I designed was part of their broader product suite, built to support a two-sided marketplace connecting brands with hosts for product placement campaigns. I was the sole designer on the app end to end, across both the brand and host experiences: multi-step campaign flows, a review and status system, and the marketing web surface. There was no existing product, no design system, and no prior research to start from. The core challenge was building for two audiences with completely different mental models inside one app, on a small screen, with a human review step sitting in the middle of every transaction. Brands needed to complete campaign setups without dropping off. Hosts needed to understand where their application stood at every point. The video shows the product image upload inside the brand campaign flow, a moment that's easy to underestimate on mobile. I gave it a dedicated empty state, immediate visual feedback as images were added, and a transition that confirms the upload landed. It's a small interaction, but in a long multi-step flow it's exactly the kind of thing that makes the difference between a user who trusts the product and one who bails.
