Cover image for One of the most fun
One of the most fun gigs I ever had was doing research and writing for infographics at Visual.ly. This was the first project I worked on, and probably the most fun. I had to research mountains around the world to find the tallest, biggest and most interesting. The Visual.ly (https://Visual.ly) team then took it and turned it into this video. It's probably pretty dated in terms of modern visual design and tech, but I still love it!

MMTCP Alumni Association needed a cleaner newsletter and a more coordinated email program. As a volunteer strategist, I redesigned the newsletter, introduced segmentation, wrote and designed landing pages, and centralized campaigns and reporting in Mailchimp. In a 55-day period around the time I took on more of the strategy, sends fell 33% versus the prior period, while click rate rose 7% to 5.6%. Click-to-open rate also rose 7% to 16.3%; open rate was 34.1% and delivery was 99.9%.

Over a two-year contract with CycleØ, I supported marketing and communications in the renewable energy sector, translating technical subject matter into clear, compelling, brand-aligned content. My work included developing and maintaining brand guides, researching and writing SEO website content, planning and launching international media campaigns, and executing social campaigns across multiple channels. Working with the marketing director, I helped create and deliver a broad range of communications assets to reach new audiences, consistently meeting briefs and deadlines.
