A manufacturing business needed a reliable, self-hosted email marketing platform to manage its growing contact database and send newsletters at scale. They wanted full control over their email operations while maintaining strong inbox placement.
The project involved deploying Sendy on an Ubuntu VPS, integrating Amazon SES and Postmark, configuring Apache, PHP-FPM, MariaDB, SSL, and DNS authentication (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC), resolving installation and server configuration issues, verifying the mailing list, warming up the sending reputation, and optimizing deliverability before launching campaigns.
Through this project, I strengthened my expertise in Linux server administration, email authentication, SMTP integrations, deliverability optimization, and large-scale email deployment.
The outcome was a stable, secure, and scalable email marketing system that gave the client greater control over email campaigns, improved deliverability, and reduced long-term sending costs.
