Projects in NavegantesProjects in NavegantesPapelino is a children’s IP created for long-form YouTube episodes, with the goal of inspiring imagination, creativity and hands-on building.
The idea came from a very personal place: my son. He has always loved creating amazing things out of cardboard. For him, building is often just as important as playing. That is the moment where he imagines, invents worlds and turns simple objects into big adventures.
That inspiration became Papelino: a character who transforms cardboard boxes and everyday objects into toys, missions and imaginary worlds.
More than entertainment, Papelino carries an important message: children don’t need to only consume ready-made toys. They can also imagine, build, create and bring their own ideas to life.
In this project, we used AI video as part of the production process to create long-form episodes with children’s storytelling, consistent characters and a visual universe made of cardboard.
Papelino is about creativity, play and imagination, showing that a simple box can become anything when a child believes in their own idea. Every project that connects React Hook Form to a server ends up with the same 60 lines of boilerplate, useTransition, FormData serialization, Zod error mapping, setError() loops. I got tired of writing it, so I abstracted it into a library.
hookform-action is a monorepo with 4 packages: a Next.js adapter, a standalone adapter for Vite/Remix/Astro, a framework-agnostic core, and a DevTools panel. Full TypeScript inference, optimistic UI with rollback, multi-step wizard persistence, and 81+ tests.
