Virtual Assistant is a web application that allows users to intuitively and effectively complete an online application for assistance from the Westminster City Council. It is an app that uses a simple and intuitive UI to walk the applicant through the application process by providing step-by-step guidance. At the end of the application process, the applicant will be able to submit all the signed documents to the Local Government Pension Scheme Office for processing. Technical Implementation The software is written using Javascript and PHP. The Front-end part is made using Angular framework and the Back-end part is made using a custom made internal PHP framework. The Local Government Pension Scheme Office receives the signed documents via email in PDF format thus saving precious time that was spent assisting the applicants that used to go directly to the office to ask for guidance in filling the paper application form.

The system combines semantic retrieval, syntax-aware analysis, and dependency graphs to build a structured representation of a software project rather than treating source code as plain text. Ocelot analyzes classes, methods, dependencies, and relationships across the codebase, allowing users to ask questions about architecture, business logic, implementation details, and dependencies in natural language. Key capabilities include: Hybrid semantic and syntax-aware code search RAG-based question answering over source code Dependency graph generation Method and class-level indexing Incremental indexing for changed files Structured metadata extraction Support for backend and frontend codebases Java, Angular and TypeScript analysis Architecture and business-logic exploration through natural language I designed the architecture, indexing pipeline, retrieval strategy, dependency analysis, and AI interaction layer with a focus on making large codebases easier to navigate and understand.
