Spotify Discover creates an isolated section where users can go to if they do want to find new music and suggestions rather than grouping it all in the home page.

One of my past projects, Moleskine Connect. Our team was tasked with exploring the possibility of adding a new feature to their smart notebook line - social networking. We landed on Moleskine Connect, a community-centric platform similar to Reddit in which users can interact with each other and post their work in a safe and private manner meant to encourage those who typically are hesitant to share their work.
