Landing pages, blogs, marketing sites, documentation pages? Almost magical. It can pull layouts surprisingly well and save hours of manual recreation.
Where it still struggles is modern web apps. Complex React interfaces, dashboards, dynamic states, overlays, and highly interactive experiences can be hit-or-miss because there's much more happening beneath the surface than what appears on screen.
That said, I think some people are missing the point.
The value isn't copying pixels. It's starting from reality.
As designers, we're constantly working on products that already exist. A developer ships a feature, a competitor launches a flow, or a client wants to iterate on a live experience. Being able to bring that into Figma in seconds instead of rebuilding it from scratch is a huge productivity boost.
Even with its limitations, it's one of the biggest workflow improvements I've seen for designers this year.

The film documents the complete journey—from the vessel's arrival and cargo handling to transportation planning, engineering coordination, and the successful movement of the helicopters. Combining cinematic aerials, detailed industrial visuals, and on-ground documentary footage, the film highlights the scale, complexity, and flawless execution behind one of India's significant defence logistics operations.
My Contribution
2nd Unit Cinematographer
Captured cinematic B-roll, industrial operations, logistics activities, equipment, port infrastructure, and supporting visuals throughout the project.
Worked alongside the primary cinematography team to maintain a consistent visual style while documenting the scale and precision of the operation.
Video Editor
Edited the documentary into a compelling visual narrative by seamlessly combining aerial footage, port operations, interviews, logistics sequences, and cinematic B-roll.
Focused on pacing, storytelling, sound design, transitions, and visual consistency to create a polished corporate film that communicates both operational excellence and national significance.
