Copywriting Projects in DelhiCopywriting Projects in DelhiWhen an organisation spans 20+ brands across five advertising verticals, the real challenge isn’t capability. It’s coherence.
HT Media, an iconic media house in India, operates across newspapers, digital news platforms, radio channels, large-scale industry events, branded content and IPs, and OTT media — with 20+ brands under its umbrella.
But when it came to advertiser conversations, each vertical largely told its own story.
Print had its narrative.
Digital had its decks.
Events had their films.
Brand Studio had its case studies.
What didn’t exist was one unified articulation of the entire advertising ecosystem.
This project set out to build that.
The brief:
Create HT Media’s first integrated advertiser brand showreel — one that brought together scale, credibility and future vision across verticals.
The work began with benchmarking leading global publisher showreels (The Guardian’s stood out).
From there, it became a deeply cross-functional effort.
Workshops across print, digital, radio, events and Brand Studio.
A centralised repository of every advertising solution across formats.
A complete mapping of capabilities — from gatefold print innovations to contextual digital ads, branded content, IP integrations and on-ground amplification.
Only after understanding the ecosystem in depth did we shape the narrative.
The creative pivot was simple: What makes a story great?
That question became the spine of the script — positioning HT Media not just as a media house, but as a brand storytelling partner across platforms.
We then curated the strongest advertiser work across verticals and built a flagship film, executed with an external production partner, along with vertical-specific adaptations (print-only, digital-only, events-focused versions).
The result?
• HT Media’s first unified advertiser showreel
• A shared narrative across previously siloed verticals
• Tailored edits for specific sales contexts
• A repeatable enablement asset used by multiple teams
Crucially, the film didn’t just showcase creative work — it incorporated ROI validation through Nielsen brand lift and purchase intent studies, making it both a brand asset and a data-backed sales tool.
Internally, it aligned teams.
Externally, it positioned HT Media as an integrated advertising partner rather than a collection of media properties.
This wasn't your average reel. It was a strategic consolidation of 20+ brands across multi-channel media verticals in a cohesive B2B brand film narrative.
I’ve documented the full process and thinking in this case study here: https://avanikamote.my.canva.site/case-study-ht-media-showreel-brand-marketing
If you’ve worked on unifying complex organisations into a single commercial narrative, I’d be keen to hear how you approached it.
