HeatSafe – Heatwave Alert & Safety Companion A Self-Initiated UI/UX Product Design Project HeatSafe is a human-centered mobile app concept designed to help outdoor workers and vulnerable communities stay informed, prepared, and protected during extreme heat conditions. The project focuses on solving a real-world problem through thoughtful UX strategy and intuitive interface design. It aims to make heat-related information easier to understand and turn safety awareness into actionable decisions. The Challenge Outdoor workers, delivery partners, street vendors, and construction workers often face extreme temperatures without timely alerts, accessible cooling resources, or simple safety guidance. The Solution HeatSafe brings essential heat-safety features together in one accessible mobile experience: Real-Time Heat Alerts: Stay informed about heatwave warnings and changing weather conditions. Personalized Safety Tips: Get practical recommendations for hydration, clothing, rest, and heat protection. Nearby Cooling Centres: Discover nearby water points and cooling locations. Health & Safety Tracking: Manage optional hydration reminders and cooling-break activity. Emergency Assistance: Access emergency calling and essential first-aid guidance. Multilingual Experience: Designed with Hindi and English accessibility in mind. Advertising Poster Design Project Type: Self-Initiated Graphic Design Concept Role: Graphic Designer Tool: Adobe Illustrator Project Overview PureGlow Skincare is a self-initiated advertising poster concept focused on creating a fresh, natural, and premium visual identity for a skincare brand. The design explores organic shapes, earthy green and warm beige tones, and carefully arranged typography to create a visually engaging composition. The layout is designed to highlight skincare products and benefits while maintaining a clear visual hierarchy and a natural brand aesthetic. My Contribution Designed the poster layout and overall visual composition. Explored a nature-inspired colour palette. Used typography and visual hierarchy to guide attention. Integrated imagery within organic shapes to create a distinctive layout. Structured the design around product presentation and a clear call-to-action. Design Objective To explore how colour, typography, imagery, and composition can communicate a skincare brand's natural and premium positioning through advertising design. ChargeSaathi — EV Charging Support App Concept 🚗⚡ Turning an idea into a thoughtful digital experience. ChargeSaathi is a conceptual EV charging support app designed to help electric vehicle users discover nearby public charging stations and explore home-host charging options when they need a charge. The initial idea was shared by a close friend during an unexpected conversation. Inspired by that idea, I explored how thoughtful UI/UX design, clear information architecture, and a consistent visual identity could help address this real-world mobility challenge. 🎯 The Design Challenge Finding a suitable charging option can be stressful when an EV battery is running low. ChargeSaathi explores a more convenient way to discover charging options, understand availability, and connect with potential home charging hosts. ✨ Key Features Explored Charging Discovery: Explore nearby public charging stations through a map-based interface. Home Charging: Discover potential home-host charging options. Charger Details: Present charging availability, compatibility, distance, and pricing information. Booking Flow: Explore a clear charging request and confirmation journey. Live Charging Experience: Conceptualize charging progress and session information. Host Dashboard: Explore charging requests, availability management, and session summaries. Trust & Safety: Consider verification, privacy, and clear charging information throughout the experience. 🎨 My Role & Contributions As the designer, I worked on translating the initial idea into a visual product concept. Mobile app UI/UX design User flows and screen structure Logo design created in Adobe Illustrator Visual identity, colour palette, and typography Interface layouts, cards, buttons, and reusable UI elements Charging discovery, host details, booking, and dashboard screens 🛠️ Tools & Visual Assets Tools: Figma, Adobe Illustrator Photographic assets used in the concept were sourced from free image platforms, including Pexels, Unsplash, and Magnific, where applicable. The interface layouts, logo, visual direction, and overall presentation were developed as part of my design exploration. 💡 Design Approach My focus was to create a clean, approachable, and intuitive interface that makes charging information easier to understand. I explored a forest-green and energy-lime colour palette to communicate mobility, sustainability, and energy while keeping the interface visually consistent. 🚀 What's Next? ChargeSaathi is currently a concept-stage project, not a launched product. Potential next steps include user research with EV owners, usability testing, validating the home-host charging model, and exploring technical feasibility and electrical safety requirements. 🙌 Acknowledgement The initial idea was shared by a close friend, which inspired this design exploration. This project reflects my contribution to the UI/UX design, logo, and visual direction.
