A short film created for the Renoise/Contra contest.
The idea grew out of a short story I wrote and a single thought that stayed with me long after I finished it. This film is a visual exploration of that idea.

For those interested in the process, here's the Renoise canvas I used. I rendered everything at 480p to quickly explore multiple variations and compare the results. The Renoise logo was added afterward in After Effects.

Here's a concept video I started for the CapCut/Contra challenge.
I hit a bit of a wall with the free plan—two scenes didn't generate the way I wanted, and I ran out of credits before I could finish refining them.
Still, I have to say I was genuinely impressed by some of the ideas and visual directions the AI came up with. Definitely an interesting creative tool to explore.
The project isn't finished, but if anyone wants to pick it up and bring it across the finish line, send me a message. I'm happy to share all the assets.
