Automated Redmine Check-In System
I built an automated check-in system to reduce the manual effort teams spend tracking and sharing project updates.
The system monitors activity in Redmine and detects meaningful changes such as issue status updates, progress changes, comments, and logged work. Using n8n, the workflow processes this activity and automatically sends organized department updates to the appropriate Mattermost channels.
The solution helps teams stay informed without manually collecting updates from multiple projects. It improves visibility, reduces repetitive reporting, and ensures important project activity is communicated automatically.
Tools used: Redmine, n8n, Mattermost, Docker, REST APIs, and workflow automation.
