After years working full-time as a DevOps engineer, most of my world revolved around things like AWS, CI/CD, infrastructure, scaling… the “traditional” path. ⚙️
Then suddenly — the AI wave hit. 🤖
At first, like many traditional developers, I was a bit skeptical. I looked at AI with caution. Curious, but not fully convinced. 👀
But after trying it… I have to admit — I was impressed. 🚀
I’m not a very creative person. UX/UI was never my strength. Frontend used to take me hours just to fine-tune small details.
Now?
✨ AI handles the UI ✨ AI writes the frontend ✨ AI even helps deploy
Ideas that used to take weeks… now take hours. ⏳ From idea → MVP in just a few days. ⚡
Everything started to feel… almost too easy.
So I shifted my focus: → finding ideas 💡 → doing marketing 📈 → shipping fast 🚢
And then it happened.
One of my MVPs suddenly got traction. 📊 Traffic increased. Users started coming in. Clients began reaching out.
For a moment, it felt like everything was working. 🎉
Until it wasn’t.
First came the complaints: “App is slow…” 🐢 “Why is this taking so long to load?”
Then came something worse: A surprisingly large bill. 💸
That’s when it hit me.
Platforms like Vercel, Supabase… They are incredible for MVPs. 🔥
But building something that works for a few users is very different from building something that lasts.
At some point, you stop shipping features… and start dealing with systems. 🧠
And that’s a completely different game.
